"I'm originally from the Philadelphia area where I began a career cooking in restaurants. This led me to the Culinary Institute of America where I met my future wife.
After graduating in 1993 we moved to Boston for two years to work in the fine restaurants. We then moved to Colorado in 1995 to pursue a change in lifestyle (get out of the city). We lived in Summit County until 1998 when we re-located to Mancos; we fell in love with the open space, the beautiful views, accessibility to outdoor activities and culture. We built a custom, passive solar home, and in the process I developed a passion for this type of construction and consequently it is an area of real estate that I have strength in. In 2001 we purchased a small restaurant in Mancos, which we loved for six years before we decided to sell to pursue other interests.
Many of the skills I acquired in the restaurant industry readily extended into real estate such as an emphasis on customer service, hard work, business and negotiations. I also enjoy cooking, hiking, camping, chicken, river running, reading, and practicing Aikido."
